Where to stay in the Park, Ecovillage Findhorn

Everyone is welcome here at Ecovillage Findhorn – unlike many centres, you can visit whenever you choose, without being on a course or workshop (although there are plenty of workshops to tempt you too).
There’s a huge variety of accommodation, from guesthouses and B&Bs to wild camping in the woods. Here’s more info to help you make your choice.
Guest Lodge and Bunkhouse
In a prime spot on the village green, these properties are now owned by the community. Create your own 3-, 4-, 7- or 28-day retreat, joining in with community happenings, or book in if you’re on a workshop here in the Park. They offer single, twin and double rooms, with shared kitchens and bathrooms.
Clearwater
Right on the community centre garden, Clearwater is a well-appointed eco chalet with four bedrooms – a single, double and two twins – all en-suite. There’s a spacious shared living and kitchen area. It has a ramp and an accessible shower/toilet.
Westwood
This cosy wooden chalet on the edge of the community centre garden has two bedrooms (one double, one twin) with a shared accessible bathroom and generous kitchen and living space. It has a ramp for access, and a covered deck to enjoy the outdoors.
Cullerne House
This is a gracious old stone building on the edge of the Park, right next to Cullerne Gardens. The rooms are spacious, with one en-suite, one with a shared bathroom. There’s a shared dining room with tea-making facilities, and breakfast can be provided.
Rainbow Lodge guesthouse
This is a lovely spacious house in the Field of Dreams, double, twin and single rooms, a kitchen, two shared bathrooms a large shared lounge. Self catering breakfast supplies are provided.
Sunflower B&B
This is a cosy double-storey eco-house in the Field of Dreams where you’ll be given a warm welcome. It offers single or twin rooms, with a shared shower room and living space. The rate includes a hot breakfast, and there are no kitchen facilities.
Sandhaven B&B
This is a friendly double-storey eco-house in the Field of Dreams. Choose between a single or double room, with a shared bathroom, kitchenette and shared living area.
Strawbale House
Book a self-contained unit in an eco-home on Pineridge. You can’t tell, but it’s built with straw bales! There’s a kitchenette and living area, plus two spacious bedrooms each with double beds and a mezzanine level.
406 Field of Dreams
A central double-storey eco-house in the Field of Dreams, with a single or double room, a shared bathroom, kitchenette and bright conservatory-lounge area.
Savitri
A large double-storey eco-house in the Field of Dreams where you can book individual rooms or the whole house. It has a double room en-suite, and 3 other doubles/twins sharing a bathroom. There’s a large shared kitchen and living area, including a conservatory.
Dianne’s, and Genesis
These two original bungalows in the Park each have five 5 bedrooms – four singles and a double – with a shared shower room/toilet, and extra toilet. Both have fairly private paved patios and outdoor tables.
Wild camping in the woods
Set up your tent in the woodlands between the Park and the dunes leading to the beach, on camping pads tucked between the trees. Managed by the Findhorn Hinterland Trust, it’s rustic and peaceful, with a composting toilet, shower, a fire pit and covered communal area.
